This upgrade project was for Level 4 of the Reserve Bank at 2 The Terrace, Wellington. A DALI dimming system was required, but it also needed to be able to control switched 230V and 0-10v lighting, and integrate seamlessly with the AV control in some areas.
This new processing plant for Watercare in the Waikato required external lighting controlled in different zones. A zencontrol DALI-2 system was installed with after-hours control via IP-rated sensors, but with switches located in various locations around the plant to allow for manual override of the system when necessary. Plan View provides clear visual display of the system for facility management.
Auckland Girls Grammar School Lighting Control – Wireless Upgrade for DWC Theatre. The request was to provide control for the existing lighting in the Dorothy Winstone Centre Theatre at Auckland Girls Grammar. The DWC Theatre belongs to the school, was built in 1988 and was named in honour of Dame Dorothy Gertrude Winstone.
Being able to remotely program, maintain, and make changes to hospital lighting control systems and to other high risk sites such as residential care homes and other medical facilities has been a complete game changer during these challenging times.
This project received “Highly Commended” in the prestigious international DALI Lighting Awards for 2021 (Awarded January 2022).
Using the DALI-2 zencontrol cloud-based commissioning platform along with a network connection enables us to remotely program, maintain, and make any necessary changes to projects New Zealand wide, with no site visits required.
