Dilworth College has added an impressive new auditorium to its campus – an architecturally refined, high-functioning space that reflects the school’s commitment to excellence. With an elegant interior finish featuring rich timber detailing, sleek architectural lines, and precision lighting, the auditorium is designed to host a variety of performances, presentations, and school events.

Intelligent Environments was brought on board to deliver a tailored lighting control system that matched the sophistication of the build.

After more than two decades of community advocacy, a previously underutilised site on Auckland’s iconic Ponsonby Road has been transformed into a vibrant new civic space: Te Rimutahi. Designed through a community-led process and funded by Auckland Council, the project brings a long-awaited public area to one of the city’s busiest and most densely populated suburbs.

Intelligent Environments was engaged to provide the lighting control systems for the space, working alongside the project’s consulting engineers, BECA.

The Adult Rehabilitation Integrated Stroke Unit (ARISU), housed within the new Taio Ora facility at Auckland City Hospital, is one of only two dedicated stroke centres of its kind globally.

Designed to provide an integrated approach to hyper-acute, acute, and rehabilitative stroke care, the $30 million facility delivers 41 inpatient beds alongside purpose-built rehabilitation, dining, exercise, and communal spaces.

In late 2024, Intelligent Environments partnered with zencontrol to deliver a custom lighting control solution for KiwiRail’s latest Scenic Plus carriage — Manuhiri, a luxurious addition to the renowned Northern Explorer route.

Following the success of previous Scenic Plus upgrades on the South Island’s Coastal Pacific and TranzAlpine lines, this North Island project brought the same level of innovation and sophistication to the journey between Wellington and Auckland.
