The zencontrol DALI-2 system installed and commissioned at the new Kariki Hospital will provide a customised healthcare lighting control system, fully compliant with the new lighting control standard for Australia and New Zealand.
With its opening scheduled for early 2024, Kakariki Private Hospital will be a state-of-the-art facility located in Greenlane, Auckland. This 4-theatre, 20-bed hospital will deliver elective surgery for specialist areas including Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, ENT, Spine & Neurosurgery, Plastics, Breast, and Urology as well as General Surgery.
Allendale Electrical and Intelligent Environments have partnered to provide the DALI-2 lighting control system for numerous healthcare and medical facilities and are working together again with Intelligent Environments to deliver the healthcare lighting control for the new Kakariki Hospital.
The zencontrol system utilised is ideal for this type of building where ease and speed of maintenance is particularly important. In most instances any adds/moves/changes to the system can be managed remotely meaning little in the way of disruption for busy medical staff, patient rooms or operating theatres.
