Lighting can be activated via a combination of manual switching and automatic control using time scheduling, light level and occupancy sensors, all controlled by the energy management system.
Energy efficient fluorescent dimming is used wherever possible with minimal use of incandescent lighting.
Photoelectric multi sensors can be used to ramp up or dim down interior lighting according to the varying levels of natural light available.
Occupancy or absence detectors sense unattended areas and automatically turn area lighting off to save energy. Lighting scenes can be pre-set to time out at day’s end, yet still allow sensors to operate lighting in areas where staff remain on site.
