LIGHTING CONTROL
LIGHTING CONTROL AT WORK
Taking advantage of natural light levels, your system can be designed to use light level sensors which ensure only the minimum necessary level of lighting is turned on. Motion sensors will register when an area is vacated and the lights can be switched off, or schedules can be set up to turn lights on and off at pre-set times to meet the needs of staff in each area of the building.
Again, low traffic areas can be programmed to light up only when those areas are needed. Pre-set schedules can be overridden by occupancy sensors so that if a member of staff is working late, safe pathway lighting is still provided.
LIGHTING CONTROL AT HOME
Similarly different lighting scenes can be created to suit your living spaces and lifestyle.
A night time setting may allow for low level lighting in hallways and bathrooms to allow for safe navigation to the bathroom in the wee small hours!
Or occupancy sensors may be installed which will sense movement, and only then turn on the lights at a pre-set level.
When you arrive home from work, perhaps the garage door opener also triggers pathway lighting, and the entrance hall lights to turn on.
Lighting control can be as intelligent as you wish it to be and can tie in with all other aspects to create your Smart Home.
Integrate your lighting control with your entertainment system. A single button can dim the lights, draw the blinds and start the movie.
