Retirement / Ages Care

As baby boomers move into retirement there is a higher level of expectation that reflects in the type of retirement lifestyle they are choosing.

Planning an energy management system that will be robust, user friendly, but also allows flexibility for changing future needs will be important for any such facility. We are happy to assist in the design and implementation of such a system, providing both local and centralised control and monitoring.

Automated switching can be of tremendous benefit for the elderly of physically impaired. Lights, bathroom fans etc can be activated via sensor, and can also turn off automatically when the room is vacated. No fumbling for a light switch to turn on a light in a darkened room. The sensor picks up a movement, and the light automatically activates.

Lighting in public areas, or exterior lighting can also be operated by sensors and/or schedules, operating only when required, and thus reducing energy costs.

If required, lights can be controlled and monitored centrally from simple to use touchscreens. No more banks of confusing dimmers and wall switches. Your building services manager will be able to monitor all circuits at a glance.
