BUILDING OWNERS/MANAGERS

Commercial Buildings

Sustainability
With all the different messages surrounding the concept of sustainability, it is often hard for businesses to understand its meaning and discover its benefits. In essence, sustainability is about meeting the needs of today, without adversely impacting on the needs of tomorrow. In fact, the key messages of sustainability actually tie in with what are generally considered to be ‘sound’ business practices, such as building efficiency, minimising waste and maximising resources. Simplicity

Our aim is to manage complex tasks in a simple way! Ranging from one touch control for lighting and audio-visual equipment in the boardroom, to total building control from one central location. Your company’s individual requirements are catered for: cleaner’s rosters; public holidays; after hours’ activities; all allowed for within the design of your control system.

Changing Times

We will ensure your system is flexible to meet your needs now, and in the future. Re-programming of lighting groups can easily cater for changes to floor plans or to differing work hours. As your business grows, your system can be extended to meet those needs.

Compatible Technologies

For an efficient solution is it essential that all technologies employed are compatible. We can provide a transparent platform to integrate all technologies within the commercial environment including: lighting, audio visual equipment, air conditioning, alarm systems, blinds, whatever is required.

Lighting Control

The rising cost of energy is impacting on business margins like never before, with the threat of huge increases in power costs for the future.

Lighting efficiency is now an important part of maximising profits for any company.

Requirements will vary for open plan and individual offices, for meeting rooms, board rooms, lift lobbies and entranceways, for staff rooms, and for amenities such as kitchens and bathrooms. We work with you to plan the design carefully to maximise your return on investment. Substantial savings can be made through the use of sensors to reduce the amount of time lighting is left on unnecessarily, resulting in reduced energy consumption and lower maintenance costs.

Flexibility within the system allows re-programming to accommodate changes to office space such as altered partitions, new open plan desk configurations, etc.

Setting the Mood

A lighting control system can create a remarkable ambience in areas such as a restaurant or function centre that would be virtually impossible with a conventional wiring system.

Banks of wall switches and dimmers – clashing with the décor, complicated and frustrating to operate – these can now be long gone!

A simple touchscreen replaces confusing old technology. Lighting sequences are pre-programmed to operate from the single touch of a button. Specific areas can be dimmed to create space, effect lighting can be emphasised to highlight wall hangings, water features, whatever!

The possibilities are endless. But why stop at lighting? Incorporate air conditioning, security, audio visual, etc and create a an integrated system for your building management!

Security

External security lighting is often permanently on all night. Combining light level and occupancy sensors can provide lighting only when needed. Large cost saving without compromising lighting levels!

Sunset switches can be used to control perimeter and security lighting where constant illumination is necessary.

Building services staff are able to monitor and easily identify faulty lighting circuits on a PC interface. Alarm systems, air conditioning etc can also be interfaced with the system.
